But it wasn’t always this way. When we first started out, we were a small family-run business with limited resources and a lot of uncertainties. Sanjay began by building up his experience within the motor industry, despite leaving school with few formal qualifications and being a one-man band. Through sheer hard work, he became well-known in the motor industry. The early days were incredibly challenging—it often felt like we were competing against industry giants with far more experience, bigger budgets, and greater access to opportunities. We faced the constant struggle of getting our name out there and earning the trust of fleet owners. Being small and independent meant working long hours, wearing multiple hats, and learning by doing. The pressures of a young business often felt like an uphill battle.

In 2018, with encouragement from his wife Jo Varsani, Sanjay took the leap and opened his own camera installation business. Jo saw the potential in Sanjay and believed in his abilities. Jo herself faced many challenges in a male-dominated industry and found it difficult to get her voice heard. She had successfully launched other businesses in elderly care and childcare, bringing invaluable experience to the table. Together, Sanjay's industry knowledge and hands-on experience combined with Jo's business acumen created a powerful team. Jo’s skills in nurturing relationships with clients and her constant drive to improve the customer journey played a vital role in our growth. Jo is a successful businesswoman in her own right, having won awards as a highly commended remarkable woman and an unsung heroine for her charitable work, which includes volunteering with the Samaritans for over ten years and providing meals for the homeless.

Jo’s journey wasn't without hardship. She got married young, became a mum at an early age, and faced the struggles of being a single mum for ten years, rebuilding her life after a messy divorce. These experiences gave Jo the fire in her belly to strive for something better and to give back to others—a value that is at the core of our company today.

To overcome these challenges, we relied on our core values: dedication, adaptability, and genuine care for our clients. We focused on what set us apart—our personalised service and commitment to quality. We didn’t have the luxury of large budgets, but we had the tenacity to build real relationships with our clients, listen to their needs, and provide value beyond just products and services. We learned to be innovative with our solutions, efficient with our time, and, most importantly, consistent in our delivery.

Slowly but surely, things began to change. Clients recognised the value of our work, and word of mouth started to spread. The relationships we nurtured with our customers paid off—they trusted us not only with their fleet safety but also recommended us to others. Our team grew, our reputation flourished, and we transitioned from being a small, struggling family business to a respected partner in fleet safety solutions. The business has grown from strength to strength, both in our capabilities and our customer base. Now, we’re proud to help fleets of all sizes remain safe and compliant, and we’ve earned our place alongside some of the most established names in the industry.

Back then, we believed success was reserved for those with the most money or the biggest head start. Now, we know success belongs to those who are willing to work hard, adapt, and stay true to their values.
